Shalinee Sharma is CEO and co-founder of Zearn, a nonprofit math platform and curriculum, used by one in four elementary school students in the United States. Zearn Math is the only elementary curriculum top-rated by EdReports that unites hands-on instruction and immersive digital learning. Zearn streams high-frequency data to the Opportunity Insights Track the Recovery site to give leaders and policy makers real-time insight into missed learning students are experiencing by geography (down to the county-level) and income-status. Prior to Zearn, Shalinee spent more than a decade at Bain & Co. leading work for clients in tech, education, and other sectors. She has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Brown University, and currently serves on the Braven Board and is an Aspen-Pahara Fellow. The child of refugees, Shalinee has always been passionate about universal access to an excellent education.
